Soild Roller Cam ?

Anyone on this site running a solid roller cam on the street? I'm installing a 270 int. 279 exh. @.50 .703 int .708 exh. in my 505ci. I was wondering if this cam is to big for a once in a while 50 mile cruise? All good parts nothing cheap here. Thanks 3rdgear:

Here in Mid Michigan it's 24 degrees, 4"s of the white stuff and coming down hard. The forecast is 8" to 12" by time it comes to an end about 7:00pm tonight. I'll be unloading the SkiDoo sometime this morning and take it for a ride to the gas station and do some river riding today. :D...

I have never had any foam make it to the carb, But one time i was changing my Fram filter and found a very small piece in there. Take it out clean your fuel cell, then that one less thing you have to worry about.

I have a 74 Nova with CalTrac Split Monos and there lift bars. This car is getting a power plant, 505ci. BBC about 700hp. Can i get this thing to hook on 30"*9" Hoosier slicks? My budget is going FAST really don't want to mini tub it if i don't have to BUT i don't want to be smokin the tir...
