Re: Scrub Angle issues.. crazy front wheel vibration

How are the rotors on the front? Have you had them checked to make sure they are not warped? If they are that could be what starts off the wobble.

Re: Scrub Angle issues.. crazy front wheel vibration

I would imaginge that the more caster you have the more weight it would move. In theory, you are actually picking up on a corner when you are steering. Also more caster the harder it is to steer (escpecially when using manual steering) so you might not be as quick to steer out of a problem because o...

Re: Scrub Angle issues.. crazy front wheel vibration

That does sound like a caster angle problem. Caster is the angle that is responsible for high speed stabillity. If you don't have enough caster set into the front end, what will happen is that going down the track under power the caster angle goes positive because of angles the car is in(nose up).On...

Re: Jacobs Electronics Mastermind controller

I had tried two on two different occasions and did not have good luck with it at all. I never did get either one to work right.

Most shift kits(like your B-M transpak ) already do it for you with the different separator plate they supply. Pulling the center seal out of the direct drum or pulling the sealing ring off is another way of doing it. For the most part its all in the shift kit. Plugging the feed on the accumulator w...

I have never bought a motor from schaffirof but , I have had them do machine work for me in the past with poor results. I had a 4.750 crank that I sent to them to be balanced(needed to add mallory to it). When I got the crank back I had questioned how they put in the mallory. It would fly out when s...

I tow a 24 ft enclosed with my 2500 hd with the 6.0liter with 4.10 gears. the trailer weighs 8600 lbs. fully loaded ready for a race. I use to tow the same trailer with a 93 chevy 1500 with a 350ci. The 1500 would tow it but it wasn't comfortable. I also went through a couple trannys in the 1/2 ton....

I mud race and this car as 2780 lbs. and does not have an problems breaking axles. No I was wondering really if there was any advatage to having a brake. well believe it or not even...

Tranny brake

Currently I have a th400 that I foot brake. I also have a 5600 stall convertor behind a 622 injected bbc with a 400 hp shot of nitrous all in at launch. I know a tranny brake will make my car more consistant, but what esle can it do for me? What are some of the benefits of having one.

Deffinetly flow test it. Usually you can set the pressure and thats what it will be flowing with the nitrous on. But you should check it.

Sure run the pump you have. As for the reg. You can put a 3 port on that pump and run at least the same size return as your feed line.
