you can make more power with a 1050 but you will probly sacrafice 60' times in the process

they cant even compare to the c4 nor c6. not mention to put a after market shifter in one you have to by a bunch of special adapters. if i remember right they like to break shafts not real sure on that but i will ask my trans man for you.

What size wire are you running to the trans brake also your button could be going out causing the brake not to hold. i had the same problem with mine the wire was to small and it kept burn up my buttons.

i run the i beams. i upgraded the bolts though. the h beams are the ones that are hard to balance. the i beams i got though were not more than 1 gram diference. on a bad tune up and only the first stage nitrous it has ran as fast as 9.25 at 158. i belive it has a mid 8 in it though.

i had that same problem and I added some more valve spring pressure and it did work i didn't have a timing change any more. the extra spring pressure helps hold it in even though it is not ground that way.also when you launch the cam goes back just like the crank.
