Re: Jesel and T&D Shaft Rocker Solutions

John, I cannot seem to find a pic of the 3102, but I am using the 3110 on my pro action topline(now RHS) heads and from your description, they seem to be of a similar design. Mine consist of one large base that bolts down through intake rocker holes and then 4 smaller basses that bolt to the exhaust...

Re: Questions, Questions, and More Questions

That is a lot questions! First, my thoughts on engine size. I like to look at the engine package as a whole and look for weak spots and where others have had problems. A couple of examples, you can always add cubic inches by increasing the crankshaft stroke, right? This raises some issues, the compr...

Re: Mark IV BBC LS2 Cam Sync and Crank Trigger Solution

I am using the OE stock round truck coils with the external heat sinks. I have had it up to 22lbs so far with no issues, it is usually around 20lbs of boost with .025 plug gap. I would steer clear of the Chinese replacement ones unless you can verify the build specs on them. Pay attention to the coi...

Re: Mark IV BBC LS2 Cam Sync and Crank Trigger Solution

Holley HP and yes, the engine management side of them is all the same including the software. So far the HP has suited my needs and I have not had the need for the additional I/O stuff, trans control, or DBW, especially since I have done the digital dash which allows some additional I/O options. Onc...

Re: Mark IV BBC LS2 Cam Sync and Crank Trigger Solution

Interesting idea, I like it. For my BBC setup in the mustang, I was just going to run the pickup in the distributor for the cam signal and a standard holley crank trigger. I have to run the distributor in order to drive the oil pump as mine is staying wet sump, but I see where you are going and your...

Nova update

It has been a while and we need to get this board rolling again! So A few updates on the nova, nothing new on the mustang for now as I promised my other half that I would not spend any money on it until this winter, my bank account can hardly wait, lol. Anyways, I had not been out much with the nova...

Re: LQ9 Engine Swap with Factory EFI and MSD Three Step

No. You might check with you who made your harness, but this should be a tach OUT wire only. Another words, that lead would be a out signal for a aftermarket tach . If you want a two step, a three step or any sort of a timing retard, you will have to run/wire in a msd 6010, msd 6012 or even the new ...

Re: Hey guys, I'm back in the shop...

Congrats on the efi switch harry, if you have any questions about the holley stuff, feel free to ask. It can be very intimidating at first, but once you get a handle on it, it is very user friendly. I have the holley HP myself which uses the same software, the biggest difference between the two is t...

Re: Made it to the 4.70's

The biggest advantage is the increased availability of gear choices, with the glide case, you are physically limited in size with what gear you can run due to the case being smaller in diameter than a th400. I think the smallest numerical gear for a glide is in the 1.6x range. The current train of t...
