I'm still confused how you run 12.50's w/ a 1.9x short time and only trap at 103mph... Normally w/ a weak 60' the mph would be higher than normal, and it seems that it's lower than average. :?:

New post, lots of cubes, compression, cam, and big heads...

Decided to start a new thread b/c I've made up my mind to sell the motor I have and start fresh. I'm looking into a dart little M block w/ a 4.125 bore. 15* heads, and a solid roller. This will still be F.I. Obviously a converted single plane intake w/ a 90* elbow for a TB. There's only one problem,...

Nothing more than 150 on a dual plane. I agree on the 300/single plane.

No I don't. Sorry.
I would run a single pattern cam. Maybe a 244/244 @ .050" on a 112 lobe sep
You'd run a single pattern w/ 300+ shot of juice? I'm a little baffled by that one.

Compression is where the problem lies. I can't buy race gas locally, exxon doesn't sell it, and the closest 1/4 mile strip is 1.5 hours away. W/ lower compression I don't think that 254/264 will do me any good, unless there's a butt load of overlap.
