Need to no a little more about your comb. Engine/trans/gear ratio,lots of smart guys on this site and willing to help you get headed in the right direction,on that note I would definetly increase timing 3 or 4 degrees for starters.

Im not sure what conversion kit your looking to buy but with the aerospace comp. you can use your stock spindles,and you shouldn't have any clearance issues,I run the alumastar2.0 with the same back spacing with no clearance issues. Hope this helps you some.

Aerospace components just a few dollars more and are worth the money IMO.

I would pull the intake first, very common problem on these motors is intake and intake gaskets.

Looks nice, I hope your not short like me I cant reach the dash panel where your switches are when im strapped in, so I put a overhead switch panel in mine on the rollcage to solve that problem.
