4" exhaust...quiet thru design possible?
well im trying to gather info on louvered mufflers. rumor on the net says they are restrictive. well im trying to find someone who has real testing done on this subject. john or others, u guys got any ideas?

My engine guy swears by Brad Penn oil and is even a dealer for them. The price seems to be very compatiable with other brands. I'd like to know what makes it so special? been told dont listen to any air fuel reading! just read plugs...i have similar combo(572 355 darts 286/296 @.050 10:1 compression)have been 8.60s on a 73 nitrous pill.8.40s sofar best on a 93n jet 82 fuel @ 6.5 lbs(i think my gage is a lil off) and shows a tick rich. 3000 lb racing down road-chassi...

I'll chime in with everyone suggesting a BBC. Buy lots of used stuff. Safe stuff like intakes, ignition, carbs and water pumps. Heads and valve train if you're careful (lucky). Yellow Bullet and Racing Junk are full of this kind of stuff.. Find a useable bolck and have the machine work done yoursel...

if u look into getting the cheater to big shot upgrade its like 200 bucks. if u get the extra celenoid its missing in kit(80 bucks) then all u need i believe is a bottle and brackets, so if u wanted a bigger bottle anyway like a 15 lb then you can put a system together cheaper than buying a big shot...

had my car once on it,good points u bring up...put good air pressure in tires.i think i put about 7 or 8 extra lbs in 16x33,s....make sure its well secured! have fun and post results
