Supra Hybrid converter

Hey Marty, Sure hope you can help out with this. I am in need of a converter for my wifes 96 Supra that I am doing a TH400 swap on. I am using one of the adapters that allows me to run a TH400 but with the Toyota A340 trans bell housing along with the Toyota 2jz flex plate.. So I guess on the trans ...

Re: SBC timing

My 427 with 11X heads runs best at 41˚. The 447 SB2 I put together last year ran best at 29˚. Sneak up 1/2˚ at a time and watch your plugs, you might still need a little more. Also, are you sure your balancer/pointer is correct? I will see how she runs friday... I have it back at 40 right now... th...

SBC timing

Do you guys think 40 deg timing is to much for a 355 SBC. My car seems to run the best with 40. I dropped it to 36 lost .40 sec back up to 37 deg still .20 slower. I have never tried over 40 deg.

edit btw

Re: Redneck Performance

I have a redneck 4500...about 3-4 years old...ran great on my old nitrous motor....little tight for my all motor setup. I cant seem to get the stated stall out of it but it has been problem free so I would say good deal for the price. BTW one of my mechanics ran a 5000 redneck in his BBC th400 w/bra...

Seems like an economical way of obtaining a set for a BBC / Fox Mustang.
Dynatech now makes swap headers for sbc,bbc and LS1 for foxes about $450

Re: Help with head gaskets please

I got me a set of plane old Felpro 1003's $35 each :thumb: When I first built the motor I was planning on running a 250-300 shot of N2O.. So I put out the extra $$$ for the MLS gaskets.. The little ol 355 ran better then a figured on the motor so I am going to limit it to a 150 shot sooooo I hope my...

No dont think so...I am wondering if some N2O got into the intake....That would be hard since I run two solenoids but
