well i went out side today and cut the LF coil to the same size as the RF. my ride height in the front is bang on now, so that coil was trying to over extend causing twist. ill go back out later to redo my scale. at least it looks level now..... car was looking as if i twisted the frame, maybe one d...

would the LF coil be the cause since the install hight is more than the RF because i only cut th RF spring?

so thr RF has a lower install height and a stiffer spring rate

i have a 1969 sbc (379) street strip car. mostly strip. i have backhalved the car with a 4 link kit from comp eng and tide in the subframe,90/10 lakewood shocks front 3 way adj rears (comp eng) i built everything on my own except for the diff, when it was shortened i was talked into putting the rear...

sorry made a typo last post, i had 150s in the car not 125s. i now have 200s in the car to get the shock in the right travel Spring Rate: 200 lbs/in., Total Weight on Rear Wheels: 1450 - 1800 lbs. so is it safe to get something rated for 1600lbs for the front? thanks any thoughts on what shock shoul...

one thing you will want to watch is the check ball location, depending what tci did for a shift kit they might have eliminated some from the valve body.
just incase your still doing it on your own.
