Re: Did I mount my new belts right/safely? (pics)
Thank you for your answer, Craig. I had changed them from the stock belts and seat because I didn't feel very safe with the mid-back seats (neck injuries), but now I feel even more unsafe. :/

Did I mount my new belts right/safely? (pics)
There is no roll cage in my 69 Cuda, as I want to keep it semi-street appearing. I run it in the ET sportsman category, 12.6 @ 105. 360ci with M/T ET Streets and Flowmasters. I had had the original seats and belt, but felt unsafe because of a mid-back seat. I bought new seats and belts. ( see pictur...

Where to buy original vintage race signs/flyers?
Hello everyone. I tried searching the forums but didn't see a previous thread on this one. I'm looking to decorate a little more and I am interested in original vintage drag race signs or flyers from the "old days". I've searched eBay and there are a few reproductions that I may get (like ...

Re: Best lens/pair of glasses for night racing?
I have and use them and it helped me a lot as where I race the sun is directly on the tree and real hard to see and the glare is terrible....Just be careful when the sun goes down and you take them off as your reaction time will pick up alot  ......... Thank you for your reply. I have a wond...

Best lens/pair of glasses for night racing?
I did a forum search for "glasses" and nothing came up. Has anyone used any certain helmet lens or pair of glasses (like the Deist Driving Glasses ) that claims to improve driving at night? Mostly I'm looking for something to reduce the intense glare of the tree at night while still lettin...

Do you have these in your carb? Jet Extenders
When you slam the throttle, the fuel sloshes backwards, leaving your jets "dry."

Re: First time in new car.......
Before I make a first pass, I like to take a little cruize thru the pits to get a feel for the steering and the brakes. That's always a good idea anyway. I second this. The first time I ran a car with all of the "standard goodies" as you put it (coming from 11 years in a Jr Dragster and t...

69 Cuda replacement seats?
Hello all. I have a 69 Cuda fastback that I run in ET Sportsman. I'm somewhat of a stickler when it comes to keeping things "stock looking," whether that's good or bad I don't know. Currently the seats are very low (it hits just between my shoulder blades) and since we've just dropped in a...
