Cool thanks, it's a pesky little leak that has been driving me nuts.

Re: Fuel Pumps
Thanks guys. I had forgot about MagnaFuel. I think the car makes a little less than 600 hp now, I've got a roller setup in the basement that I'll put in when I scrape together money for heads. Apparently my head's spring heights/pressure couldn't be made to work with the roller...or at least not for...

Fuel Pumps
I'm going to be upgrading my fuel delivery system shortly. I'm running out of fuel with my Holley black pump and -8 supply (-8 return). So I'm going to go up to -10 on the supply, but I'm not sure what pump to go with. I don't want to end up with another noisy one like the one I have now. The Aeromo...

Powerglide tail housing leak
Hey everybody Is there another seal inside the tail housing of my powerglide that would be causing it to leak fluid between the yoke seal and the yoke. I've replaced that seal and it has managed to make a little puddle over the winter. I didn't have this problems until I got a new driveshaft made. T...

Re: Keep tuning?
Shock the system, causing the rear tires to unload. At least that's what I figure.

Re: Keep tuning?
My thoughts exactly John...I've always been leery of limiters. But, I'm thinking if I weld a door spring to the end of a bolt???

Can I suggest...
Not doing a vinyl top.

Keep tuning?
Wondering if I should keep tweaking my suspension or if this is pretty good for what I got? I don't have a ton of dough in my setup. Cal-Tracs w/ their split monos. 3-way shocks back and front, 90/10s in the toolbox. I tried 90/10s on the front and that was no good, it would pop the front up and whe...

Re: Another Try....
Yeah shifting at 6000 you probably weren't in first gear very long  Here is some info on the fuel can test, it's an easy basically free thing to check. In other news, my new slicks have held air for three weeks now. All the other slicks I've owned would go flat in a couple days...guess I sh...

Re: Another Try....
If he's got a fuel gauge that he can see while going down the track it would be interesting to see if the pressure drops off with that -6 line.

Re: Another Try....
I will share my wisdom...wisdom being everything I have learned the hard way. Our cars are pretty close to each other. I have a .060 over GM iron-headed (781s) 427, best time in sig. You said your 60ft was 1.70... Jet Extensions : Gotta' have 'em, assuming you are running a Holley. My car would pin ...

Re: Another Try....
What's your time slip look like? 60ft? 660ft? I would think you would be a lot closer to 11.0s than 12 something.
If you could, send me a PM and catch me up...I haven't been around much the last few years :/

Re: Holley Black Pump
I am to chicken to try it on my black pump with 1/2" (-8 AN) line. I'm in the mid tens now on my baby big block.
