New machine tools (milling machines) are shipped on heavy, welded metal platforms that would make an excellent chassis jig platform, if you can find them. Good idea!! Their faces are grinded and depending of the machine, it can be longer...and very good to build a chassis over it. Thanks!! :thumb: ...

Keep up the good work Jeff. You should think about building yourself a jig. It would make it easier to get the frame installations square. "JIG" ??? A frame fixture that is flat,level,and squared all your reference points can be made from it. Lots of guys make them from "I" beam...

Looks good Jeff!!!!!!!! Is there a weight limit on this class??? Do you need to keep a % of the original floor??? Are your builds usually heavy??? Just thinking if there is one it should weigh less so you can move weight around to see it's affects on the launch.... What do you think Mike??? I know ...
