Re: Water / Methanol Injection used with Carbureted Engines
Harry, I can't respond to carb/roots blower application, but my deal really liked the meth kit I just installed. Mine sprays pure methanol, no water, water does not burn and displaces air (JMHO). I'm injecting after the blower, lowered my intake air temps over 100 degrees  The, water vs water...

Re: New best went 9.40!!! Video
Thanks guys. What did you do to up the power? Pulley or meth kit? my 60's are always better when i short shift and it comes down much softer also Jim, same pully for now, I have a smaller one I'll try someday. Blower belt was slipping a little before above 6200rpm, a new belt running a lil tighter a...

New best went 9.40!!! Video
Went Saturday, only got two runs. 1st pass left so hard (shocked me) I blew the 1-2 shift, and it came down so hard it knocked the blower pipe loose at the hat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyVb9P2LMFU 2nd pass I tightened up the front shocks to calm it down, added 3 clicks. Now I think it's to st...

Re: New member-looking to launch 4 spd Ford w/ Cals/mono/ranchos
I think on your car your going to need a adjustable setup. Jim I agree with Jim, go with an adjustable clutch, sure fixed mine. Before I got the adjustable my car either bogged, blew the tires off, or broke something :pissed: . Now I can launch at 6400 rpm (peak HP) the clutch slips just enough to ...

Small world, huh ? :-) Here's a shot of his Demon parked at Tuxie's that nite - he said you were parked directly in front of and across from him. http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii137/arkwoo/Bill_Creech_At_Tuxies_Sept_06.jpg Yep, small world!! Re: Second trip to the track
7 or so hours to Sacramento is a bit far, but it does sound like fun. With your IT background you would really be able to take full advantage of an EFI with any boost package. I'm running the FAST XFI box, I hear the MegaSquirt or BigStuff3 are very similar. There is MoTeC and Haltech on the high en...
