Re: 4 Link IC Height

Billy, Good to see you understand that most of us here are NOT engineers :thumb: And I certainly wouldn't encourage you to become engineers. I managed to make a living at it, but there's gotta be a better way! Anyway, I would just point out that use of the SAE definition for antisquat offers a dist...

Re: Spring rates

Bracketeer, Want-a-be is entirely correct and the important words for you to pay attention to are "stored energy." With a softer spring, which compresses more, so we can "preload" the spring more. The trick is to better use the amount of spring stroke you have available in your ...

data logger

I have been an dealer/ user of the computech data pro since 1997 or 98. It is a very easy to used system that can expand up to 45 channels. We used it on our car and run 6.70's at 200mph. Sensor are very durable even thru tire shake and two stages of NOS. Let me know if you have any questions maybe ...

Looks like valve springs, if you look at the bottom of the spring next to the shim. The coil should come to a point. Those pieces look like the points.

First, all egts and o2 sensors vary from gauge to gauge and engine to engine. Their like weather stations. You would never used some else weather data and station to get a dial in. Your data is for your car only. I have seen people tune their car to a certain egt temp, because there buddy runs his c...

You said the timing was 10 degrees. Is that the total timing when the nitrous is on or is that how much your taking out? What is your base timing and what type of heads?

We need a little more info, but right of the bat I would say its to much timing. Is the piston burn (melted) or did the ring land lift (ie piston is all still there it's just distorted)

Are all the main bearings bad or just the rear main? An is it just on the thrust surfaces or is in the bearing itself? Which thrust surface is bad? the balancer side or the transmission side. try to get us some pictures. As for finding rag material in the filter, that is rather common on a fresh reb...

Computech data pro 45 will do 8 egts and 2 O2 sensors. I did some of the testing for the 02 sensor for them and it worked great. They used a Wego unit so if you have one you should be able to use it. I also beleive they have the hook up to use the daytona units. We run NOS and can run 6.70's (in 1/4...

We use a single holley # 70 carb jet thru one hose to flow our systems no matter what fuel jets were using. (pro race foggers) Usually every cylinder has a different fuel jet in it. This give us a fix point to tune the fuel from. If you had all eight 28 fuel jets and set the system at 6 psi and then...
