40 Coupe, I was at Mokan at a MAKO event. There is a transition bump from the new concrete to the asphalt. The transition bump was giving me problems during qualifying that caused me to lift or ride it out. I had single adjustable shocks on the back. If I took exstension away it would effect 60'. No...

It's going to be close for the June race but we will be giving it everything we got even if I have to take time off of work. No predictions here, kinda superstitious about that stuff.

If you already have the three speed i would probably stick with it. Sounds like you will be running on motor most of the time so I would use what I had. Just my two cents.

Yeah bumps in the track can be hazardous to your pocket book! Didn't have double adjustables on the rear and it came back to bite me. It will deffinately unload the suspension if you don't have a way to soften up the compression side of the shocks.

I would probably stick with the three speed with that big a head on a 350. However, you are lite enough that the glide with the right converter could be made to work. Do you plan on using nitrous alot?

John, I can't tell you how it does it. All i have to go off of is the fact that the tire lasts longer. I know exactly when the sidewalls are gone by my 60' times. My car is very consistant in the 1.28 to 1.30. When the sidewalls go it won't 60' any better than a 1.35. I have went through 10 sets of ...

I run tubes in a 28x10.5 S slick and would not take them out for nothing. It helps stiffen up the side walls and lets the tire last longer. On my car if i ran without tubes i would only get maybe 18 to 20 passes before the sidewalls were trash. I can usually get about 30 now with the tubes. I would ...

Hey Adam, Yes sir those BMF heads are the poop, but they are manufactured and start life as a Canfield 360. Conventional head means stock port layout. The 18* Darts we used has the stock port layout but have been rolled over big time. They generate some serious flow numbers in the middle of the rang...
