Re: Rookie help/ Advice 1968 Camaro SS

Has anyone ever put floor boards in one of these? was wondering what the best brand would be to use and how you'd go about doing it. The floors aren't completley gone but have pulled frame out and discovered some holes in floor.

I am trying to get it set up on a budget and then will move on from there and keep adding to it. I will get ahold of the guy about a converter, I never knew you had to ...

Re: Rookie help/ Advice 1968 Camaro SS

Ended up picking up a built 355 from one of my race buddys, so for now the camaro will live with a small block engine till I get a big block built.

That thing is beautiful! That reminds me of cruising with my grandpa, he didn't have a olds but had a 56 crown victoria the same color. We always went to cruise nights and the race tracks in it.

Re: Rookie help/ Advice 1968 Camaro SS

My question is, why did this guy weld the frame mounts to the sub frame? If this is a 366 would there be any reason to relocate the frame mounts? If you decide to go with a small block, guess what, you'll need new frame mounts. LOL, yeah I don't know why they did what they did but I don't know what...
