You want atleast 4 degrees caster, 6-8 would be much better, as close to 0 on the camber but do not lay the top of the tire out if you need to make up some room for some extra caster.
toe in needs to be 1/8 for stock steering 1/16 if you are using a rack

Re: Launch problem
I am still going to go with not enough shock for the Gear and Hp...
It is smashing the tire down then you can see the back of the car bounce back up
How stiff do you have the rear shocks set right now?

Re: TOO MUCH TRACTION?
even though the motor makes 1010 hp without nitrous and only spraying 200-300 hp it will make that much difference? Check to see where the converter is flashing to, then look at your dyno sheets and see where your motor starts making HP and torque. There is a big difference HP and Torque even with ...

Re: TOO MUCH TRACTION?
Yup, You have to put in a non adder Converter, and Gear selection at a minimum to get it worked out..
The only thing you can pay any attention to is getting the car tuned for MPH right now, everything else will be useless when you put the juice to it.

Re: TOO MUCH TRACTION?
Not enough shock for a 1000+ HP motor and a turbo 400 with a 4.10 gear..
Your trans ore than likely has a 2.48 low gear..
Is the converter setup to run Nitrous but you are not using it right now?

Re: lader bars setup
Can post a pic of the front end?? I would suggest taking the front springs off of the shocks mount the bare shocks back on the car and see just how much front end travel is there, 4 inches of total shock travel will give 7-8 inches of front end travel on alot of cars.. So you may not have to replace...

Re: lader bars setup
Get a set of the regular AFCO double adjustables for the rear.. On the front if your shocks are topped out out and the ride height of the car is where you want it, you will need to move the shocks mounts or install longer shocks to get the front end travel that you need, Most of your problem hooking...

Re: Ladder bars, how to adjust set up with more horsepower???
You might want to stiffen the rear shock extension a bit, but I would try it just the way it is otherwise

Re: lader bars setup
You need to look at what it is going to take to get some front end travel,
The 450 pound springs may have the shocks topped out, the upper shock mounts may have to be lowered and lighter spring put in plac..

Re: lader bars setup
Measure the height of the wheel opening with the car setting with the driver in place.. Jack up the front end and see how far it moves until the tire starts to lift off of the ground.. On a car like yours 5"-7" of travel would be what you would want... Also it needs to be to where the fron...

Re: lader bars setup
The car is way to stiff, You need to get the front end Way softer and get some travel will be a good start
When you say the rear is non adjustable.. is that the shocks or the ladder bars or both?
I would suggest getting some better video with a close up on the rear tire.

Re: Cage welding question need to know ASAP
If you intend to run where you need a sticker Buying a Mig Welded 4130 car would not be smart.. But if it was a steal and you ran an outlaw track.. there is nothing wrong with it.. I posted what I did to try and dispel the myth that you cant mig weld 4130... Here is the funny part... NHRA does not a...

Re: Cage welding question need to know ASAP
Actually welding 4130 with a Mig is a preferred method by many industries... It is just the Drag Racing community that frowns on it, and no one can ever give a straight answer on why it is not allowed, the best answer I have seen has to do with early rail cars being built with ultra thin tubing that...
