91 gta wheelhop

Ok guys I just picked up a super clean 91 trans am GTA. I have noticed that all these bodystyle cars trans am/camaro have a wheel hop problem. This is certinally not going to be a big project but it has a little motor work done and is pretty quick. Who out there knows of a relativley cheap/easy fix ...

Re: Intake Valve hit the piston

I have not bought any patriot heads but I bought a (china ) intake off ebay and it was a poor quality poly resin piece of crap. I learned right then and here spend the extra and buy american made name brand and you wont be dissapointed. ;)

I wouldnt think that little bit would be noticable does the vibration get worse upon acceleration and taper off when you lift off the gas? While the driveshaft is out wiggle the u-joints in all directions to make sure there is no binding or tight spots.

If you want a Dominator, look for an old style (non HP) 9375 Dominator. This has the best factory metering. HP versions require more work. If you are interested you can read the following for full explanations and mods. http://speedtalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9934 http://www.motorsportsvillage.c...

What really sucks is I just put in another trans last week (2nd gear sprag went south) so the new 3 speed has only about 8 passes on it. As far as money goes I dont care about the cost of doing the swap, my trans guy really looks out for me so the only big money out of pocket will be a converter and...
