Re: bbc stud girdles?
I agree that shaft rockers are the way to go. But I already have new Scorpion 1.8/1.75 ratio rockers and arp studs , good guide plates. And if I tried to sell them to offset the cost towards jesel shafts, I would not get much back? So I will check into the Jomar girdles. I see they have a light weig...

I have a 70s 454 2 bolt block. Gonna convert to 4 bolt mains. Have eagle caps and wonder why most aftermarket caps only change the 3 center caps? while the factory 4 bolt blocks have 4 bolt cap on front? At what level should you also change the front cap to 4 bolt? Anybody been down this road? Also ...

Re: add an antiroll bar?
Thanks John !
I did alot more research and it seems like a nobrainer to add one while updating the car.
As I read that Dave Morgan once said" Nobody thats added one has complained afterwards"

Re: 496 Dyno
Hi! It looks like your right about questioning the sellers BS. He says it was certified to 7.50? I could be wrong, but it sure looks like its missing ALOT of bars in the cage to cert to a 7.50??? I also question the weight of the car 2300lb , sounds awful light for that car??? but you can scale it e...

Re: Enclosed Trailer = Storage?
Not Crazy at all!!! I have stored my drag car this way for many winters. I make sure to put antifreeze in the engine , I pull the batteries, and just put some wood blocks under the 4 link mounts to stop the slicks from going to the rims, The blocks just slide under the mounts with the slicks at raci...
