your combo is like mine i have a 565[not a tall deck], with eagle rotating assembly,and bmf 350-heads, like your dart 355,s, mine made max hp @7400rpm,but i shift it @7800-rpm .your eagle stuff should handle 8000 rpm all day long.fwiw.

the manley #221424 spring is what i run 7800-rpm, 850-ish for lift, and on the 3rd season on em,fwiw,i heard manley was having problems with their springs breaking latley,but it might be a rumor?!?!?

forgot to add its a t-400 with a griner brake,and has 4.10-gears,car weighs 3500-lbs, and is a ladder bar car,mostly heads up type stuff,not really a brackett car fwiw. also the conv now is a tci 8-inch with a c-300 plus stator if that helps also?

when i made this last post, i had not dyno'd the motor,now i have some dyno info,the motor made peak hp@7400 rpm.975 hp, and made peak tq@6200 rpm 775 ft lbs,now with the 8-inch it flashes off the brake to 6500-rpm shift @ 7800-rpm, fall back to 6700-rpm. for next season i am thinking of trying a 9-...

i have the bmf 350,s on my car for the last 2 yrs,and not one problem! a also bought my heads back in 2006, and they dont look anything like the canfield castings [casting plugs at end of each head],fwiw.

yes, after i ran the trailer a little,i readjusted the brakes up a bit,now they work pissa!the last 2-times out with the trailer no issues and grabbed even!!

if you see yourself staying in the low tens,no need to drop a testicle on rear shocks!,just by some qa-1 or strange,single adjustable shocks and be done with it! Well, a few years down the line I'm gonna get a big motor and I wold like to run low to mid 9's on motor only. But with what I have in it...

I have worked on trailer brakes quite often, and alot of times (Iassume you have the typical electric drum brakes) The arm that the magnet swings on gets all gummy and gooey one the piviot end and therefore the brakes will not grab. so usually you can get them to work if you spray some WD-40 or wha...

thanks john, that tells me what i thought,the white wire is the ground,so my black wire must be to power the brakes,only problem now is that i gotta figure out why one side grabes and releases when i activate the brakes! :scratch:
