Re: two stroke turbo
By all means, try it on junk first. I think the proplem will be controlling the air flow. The reeds as I know them open and close with the air flow from the piston, however I don't think they will work with a turbo, you will need to find a way to open and close the air flow in a sealed and or contro...

Joke that is also the TRUTH
Indian Chief 'Two Eagles' was asked by a white government official, 'You have observed the white man for 90 years. You've seen his wars and his technological advances. You've seen his progress, and the damage he's done.' The Chief nodded in agreement. The official continued, 'Considering all these e...

Re: two stroke turbo
Try it, what have you got to loose?? Finding a turbo that small may be an issue. Tinkering is fun, no one ever thought you could put a jet engine in a bike, but it has been done, lucky J. Leno

Brake fluid DOT 3 or DOT 5
Looking for advice from someone who has ran both fluids.
Is the stopping power better on the DOT 5 and is it worth clearing all the braking system of fluid to switch over to the DOT 5 for the much higher boiling point??

Re: Redneck Performance
Customer service, I bought a 4500 stall for my 400cu all motor years ago, now I am running a 427cu turbo charged engine with a 98mm turbo system, well as you can guess I am now blowing through the converter, ( but its held up) in talked to RedNeck Performance we went over my new engine combination i...

Choosing a Data Logger
I have looked at some post and I am impressed with the logs, it seems with the information gained adjustments on the car could be made to vastly improove the performance. Since I installed the turbo system on the car there are to many things to look at and I only have half the time to due so. I lear...

Re: Redneck Performance
I also have been running there converter for years with no issues. I have broken 4 th400's from cases to thrush bearings, built by someone else, it seams the only thing I have not broken is my redneck converter. The next time I have any issue with the trans, I will be going to a Redneck Powerglide. ...

Re: Stators
OK, I will admit I don't know much about converters, but I do like to think and tinker.
Marty, is there a reason why a converter could not be built like a VATN turbo???
Where the blades adjust constantly, providing the best flow at any RPM.??
Something to think about

Re: Any info on the new Mobil 1 Racing oil?
We took apart my friends engine the other day after running it for over 10 years and he uses Mobile 1 oil, it looked like it was just built, no ridge rings in cylinders, cam and lifters looked great, short shifting helped but I was amazed at its condition after running it for so many years of use. H...

I like the Race Pump, the faster you go the more fuel it pumps. My friend also uses one on his 1200HP Chevelle never runs out of fuel.

Maybe next time. I don't get SFI equipment and or how they due things, its BS. Seat belts are no good after 2 years, yet I have a set that's been long outdated according to SFI but the belts say there good for a couple of years still. The other thing is the SFI tag is supposed to show when...
