Re: Adam W goes FIVES!!!

Congrats Adam!! :thumb:

I put the spray back on mine, just a powershot sytem(125hp), managed a 1.32-3.94-6.20@108, compared to 1.36-4.10-6.46@104 n/a, not too bad for a loose converter and relatively tight lsa(108).

Re: rim screws

I shoulda run the VAMP race. I had redlightitis, went out in the 3rd round. I did finish 3rd in points though :thumb: I put a powershot on the car, made a couple time runs after I went out, tightened up the Santhuff shocks and went 6.25,6.20@108mph compared to 6.46@104 n/a.

Re: rim screws

No screws here, drag radials or radial slicks, not real fast but leaves pretty hard at 3700lbs ;)

Re: Question about front tire size.

I had to put a taller tire on my car to keep me from redlighting. I footbrake, running a 29" tall front tire. If it was worth anything in e.t. I couldnt tell you what it was. I run 30psi air in them.

Re: MY next move is ?????????????

No problem, that was old school, and I resemble that remark, well...I used to ;) Most tire slick mfg'rs want the rim/tire to be within 1" of each other now. I run a 9" radial slick on a 15x10 rim, gets all that tread on the ground. I used to run a 10.5" radial slick, dropped to the 9&...

Re: I'm lost, ignorant and out of my league, no doubt.

I think I'd try a drag radial, partial to Hoosier or MT. 275/60 or 295/65 would be a good place to start. Those 40 series tires have no sidewall to speak of and they wont hook if making any power at all.

nitrous oxide

Now that I sold my NX Hitman kit a couple years back. I'm looking to get something in the 125hp range, gotta keep my son at bay. He got around me for the first time yesterday running a best 6.41@105 to my 6.47@104. I'm just looking for the best price on a power shot system or small adjustable plate....
