Re: Let's talk bias and over all weight.
I'm not angry! Not at all. I don't understand why you keep dictating what you think I should do with my car. If you know so much about my car and how to make it faster then give me $40,000.00 and you can do what ever the you want with it. I would still like to know what kind of bias weights and ove...

Re: Let's talk bias and over all weight.
No I don't have all the answers! Nether did John Force when he built his first car. My car has gotten faster every time I make changes and will continue to get faster as more changes are made that includes making it lighter with f/g parts. I'm very happy with the results I got out of the car the la...

Re: Let's talk bias and over all weight.
Big O, I bet I spend less than half of what you say it will cost to change to f/g. I know I'v priced everything! As far as "THE CHART", every company out there that has a chart does not match any body else's chart. Sure a power setting should run that et but there are way to many veriable...

Re: Let's talk bias and over all weight.
i personally decided not to take any more weight out of my car. for one, im a broke joke, and as one crosses past that 1000hp mark, it makes less and less of a difference, plus im turbo charged so i can turn up the boost some more to compensate. look at this chart(youve seen it before) http://www.re...

Re: Let's talk bias and over all weight.
Some have said there is not much savings in changing to f/g. I'v weigh some parts that are all metal and found that there will be a huge savings over what my all metal front end weighs. Your forgetting, to match the rest of the car, your going to need about a 100lbs. of primer..... :smt005 :smt005 ...

Re: Let's talk bias and over all weight.
I'v talked to 3 f/g shops. One peace front ends weigh 22-35 lbs. my buddy with a top sportsman car has 6 lbs of frame work to hold his front end on the car. That should give you a idea how much it should weigh. Some have said there is not much savings in changing to f/g. I'v weigh some parts that a...

Re: Let's talk bias and over all weight.
Ok I'm done with this conversation. Point F/G front end complete: 22lbs to 35lbs....... One striped fender I weighed last night: 44 lbs........ Wow! One fender weighs twice as much as the whole f/g front end. Hmmmmmm no weight saving with a one peace f/g End. I beg to differ!!!!!!!!!!! Hell just th...

Re: thought alcohol motors were supposed to run cool???
I was just thinking about your setup... 160lb injectors on a stock motor are not going to work very well which is why your lean at idle. If i remember right those injectors are good for a 1000hp alcohol engine. And as you know you need a minimum duty cycle to get them to work reliably yeah, i have ...
