Re: Sometimes you win and sometimes you loose
Holy moley !!! Nice selection :) I was running that Eagle kit in my 427 (3.76 stroke vs your 4.25 stroke) and it really worked well for me. Nice tube mount on the radiator, too :)

Welcome to the mix, Al :) I've always liked Mavericks, even though I'm a bowtie kind of guy. We need lots of photos :)

Re: Sometimes you win and sometimes you loose
It's not that bad, lol. I'll prolly list the new motor for 12-ish or so, air-cleaner to starter... Thats not bad for a complete new blower build with all the good parts. I have a good hard-core converter and a TH400 I could rebuild for another couple thou... Its prolly more than you want to spend, b...

Re: Sometimes you win and sometimes you loose
Geezo, that just sucks. :( I've never seen the head of a valve wedge itself between the piston and cylinder wall before - man, what are the odds ? Do you plans around rebuilding, and if so, what direction do you want to go ? If you have any interest in a 'mild' blown street motor, let me know. It's ...

Re: Hey guys, I'm back in the shop...
Here's the new competition manifold I picked up from BDS. With this unit I get the front burst panel I wanted for the new build but I also lose the front water jacket passages and thermostat accommodation with this version of the manifold. So, time to improvise... As delivered the manifold front int...

Re: Hey guys, I'm back in the shop...
Got air flow ? Will run 16 x 48 lb injectors in two stages, left and right. The first stage of 8 will handle idle up to mid-range and the second stage of 8 will come in at 90% duty cycle on stage 1. Each stage is good for around 700 hp or 1,300 to 1,400 hp total, assuming the heads will flow enough ...

Re: Good cage builder
Hey guys, my name is Josiah I'm brand new to this site, still young in the drag racing game, and still young in general, basically I'm just getting my ears wet.. I'm putting together a 1989 mustang LX notchback and was wondering if anybody has any recommendations for a cage builder or dealer near t...
