Congrats on the efi switch harry, if you have any questions about the holley stuff, feel free to ask. It can be very intimidating at first, but once you get a handle on it, it is very user friendly. I have the holley HP myself which uses the same software, the biggest difference between the two is ...

Hey guys, I'm back in the shop...
Hey all :) Been gone awhile, heads down earning a living and saving up my lunch money, haven't been doing much with the hot rod until the last month or two. After a lot of thinking, I finally convinced myself to make the leap and I'm waiting on delivery of a new 540 short block from Shafiroff. Dart ...

Re: New Short Block Options
My first thought was to pick up the block, crank, pistons, rods, etc., and then either build it myself or have a local shop assemble it. My next thought was to shop for a better overall price by buying something pre-built. So that's where I'm at. I don't really care about the big name builder thing ...

New Short Block Options
Hi boys, been awhile :) If you were going to buy a pre-built short block, who would you go to ? I'm looking for something based on a low-deck Dart Big-M, Callies Dragonslayer, in either 509 or 540 cu in. I know there are lots of builders out there, but without having to spend a gzillion dollars who ...

Re: New stuff...
That all look great, but I've got a feeling you're going to wish you had spaced things further apart. That wiring takes up a lot of room. I made mine too tight as well, next time around I'll space stuff out further. Thanks for the comment John. Hopefully I guessed correctly. I tried to lay stuff ou...
