i just purchased goodmark fenders for my 72 street car and was shocked to see a made in taiwan sticker on the back side. the left one fit perfect but had to do some shimming on the right. they were 209.00 on ebay.

just picked a used 28 ft enclosed trailer. this is new for me. can anyone shed some light on where the car should be placed in the trailer. car is 68 nova. one guy said center it over the 2 axels any thoughts ? thanks john

anyone know of a chart that shows compression ratios with minumum octane ratings. i have 11.5 to 1 in my new street car and trying to decide on a fuel to run. thanks john

my cell was from jegs jegs brand. i had the same cell in my street car for years same tabs no problems. we would have to check the rules regarding aluminum cells. my race car has the same 5 gallon cell as johns nova and it passes tech but the mounting tabs are alot thicker. john

i just installed the 15 gallon aluminum cell and those tabs had a tag attached that said for locating purposes only. must install straps but i cant find anyone who sellls straps for alum. cells you must need to make your own. john

i used the competition engineering kit. you can remove the bar by pulling a pin. comes out right at top of license plate hole. i just redrilled license plate holes to lower the plate and i dont have to remove it or swing it down. john

tig welding

i would like to purchase a small tig welder for the garage. anybody have any recomendations? i wont be welding any aluminum just chromoly and mild steel. thanks john
