Re: roller rocker set up vs lifter rocker set up??
go to esslinger engineerings web site they have everything you would need for a 2.3. i used a lot of there stuff and some cutom made stuff and made 650 horses with my 2.3 turbo engine. have fun with it and when i wasnt getting down on it hard i still got about 18+ mpg.

Re: Turbo 400 firmer shifts
.125 is the maxiumum for 1-2. but you can drill the 2-3 .140. but for the 2-3 you can grind the three raised castles off of the accumulator and put it in up side down. then you will have good and hard shifts.

that is a better pressure but i would still back it down on a 400. ive never had trouble with 150-175 even in the highest horse power all out comp cars and trucks.

Re: The newbie and his TH400
well wicked you are in for a surprise there is really nothing to building one. i do suggest you use the coan piece. there should only be five check balls when you pull it apart. oem there are six but you take the one out for third so you get more flow to hold it from slipping. i will find you you a ...

Re: 781 castings
i plan on using them on a 525 for a little while. i know larry meaux prefers to actually run them with a 2.300 but i dont want to go that far ive seen flow numbers in the 33o's with 2.250. The reason i know know is because i found out a bunch on speed talk.
