Re: Fuel Pump / Regulator Setup

Thanks, John.
The line from the pumps to the reg by the carbs is only 1/2". I'm thinking that 1/2" is too small for 900HP, and that I should go to a 3/4" line (N/A only). What do you think?

Re: So California drag stuff members

Count me in. Not sure if I'll have the Camaro ready. If not, I'll bring my Nova.
I'll see if I can get my buddy and his Mopar to come too.

Re: Fuel Pump / Regulator Setup

It's a nitrous car, but it has a totally separate system (tank thru regulator) mounted up front for the nitrous fuel supply.

Fuel Pump / Regulator Setup

My Camaro has dual Mallory Comp 250 fuel pumps (mounted in the trunk) feeding into a Mallory 4300 5 port return style regulator mounted near the carbs. The pumps have their own internal bypass ports that can be plumbed back to the tank. The instructions say that you can either use the bypass on the ...

Whats the red box on the dash of the car? It looks like it says something retard on it, and has spots for three chips, but only has one in it. The red box is the nitrous retard (MSD PN 8972). Only one N2O retard chip installed now. Who's transmission is in the car? Coan, TCI, ..... And did you get ...

Transbrake Setup and Usage

My new Camaro has a TH400 with a transbrake, and a MSD 7AL with just a top end rev limiter. I’ve never set up or driven a car with a transbrake, so I have a few questions. :? What does a typical transbrake/rev limiter setup consist of? Do you just activate the brake, stall the converter at full thro...

Bill of Sale vs. Pink Slip

I got a line on a nice roller project car, but it does not have a title, just a bill of sale (in Calif.). Anyone bought a car this way? I worry that the car may be stolen (remote possibility to be sure, no reason to think that), and there is no way to tell that if that is true or not without a title...

Re: Got my new 408 to the Track !!!

Nice runs. May want to think about going to a 3" exhaust, open that 408 up a bit. We have similar setups. Thanks! Yea, I gotta 3 inch exhaust out back out of an El Camino that I was thinking about chopping up to fit. Gonna go to Bakersfied in a few weeks. They allow open exhaust :thumb: Also, ...
