What are you guys using for a diff in these heavy street cars turning these times? I assume you are just running a spool and dealing with it? It would be nice if Eaton would build a 35spline TruTrac for the 9". I'm thinking 12 bolt with 33 spline TruTrac but not sure. I'm waffling as usual abo...

I have an entire 540ci BBC from Shafiroff. Had it since 2002 and I've had exactly ZERO problems with it. Been freshen by them once and had a couple of sets of valve springs. I would not have any issues purchasing another engine from them. Solid parts, good workmanship and good service....

Although not exactly what your looking for, I have a set of Landrum leaf springs for 67-69 Camaro or 68-72 Nova pn LAN-21562SP and Competition Engineering Slide-A-links pn CEE-2100 for sale. I'd take $275 for them. They came off my 71 Nova and it had gone a best of 1.40 60' with that setup. Let me k...

Your going to need to make some fairly decent hp to make a 4000lb car run 11's and the parts will need to be good quality if you want to spray it later. I don't know about where you live but around here, finding quality Mark IV BBC is not easy or cheap anymore. If it were me, I think I would go the ...

The overall event was outstanding. It was very well organized and well run. The quality of cars and the car count was great. I'm already making plans to attend the race next year. Even if you don't go out to race, if you love fast street cars and heads up racing, you can't miss this race. As far as...

Tubular A-arms, 4-wheel disk brakes, lightweight hood, fiberglass bumpers and new front tires to start. Also going to freshen up the engine. Have a new engine builder this year and we are going to try and kill some low-end torque and build more high rpm hp. Going to have the heads ported, add titani...

Good job Ron. Altitude change makes a difference, eh? How was the event overall? That would be a trip I'd like to make in the future when John Heard buys his stacker trailer. How's the USP series looking for next season? I wouldn't mind trying to make it to Pueblo once. Yea, it was nic...

Vegas trip update

HI guys, Made the long haul from Colorado to Vegas last week for the SCSN3 to run Wild street. When we unloaded Thursday night for the t-n-t, the best the car had ever gone was 9.39@148. We made a motor pass first just to make sure everything was ok after almost wrecking the car on the last pass in ...

Yea, it was a scary ride for sure. The car crossed the centerline twice and slid/hopped sideways for a second before ending up in the left lane by the guardrail. That track in PMI in Pueblo Colorado. Like cashier, I can put my slicks on, carry the front wheels and go down that track all day long. We...

Here is a video from last Saturday when we were doing some drag radial testing. Never got down the track in three passes. This one is the worst. :( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fRTl4BdzZw Sorry for the poor video quality, still trying to figure out the best way to get the videos of my new camcord...

Re: Who makes a good small block chev

Anyone know who makes a good 434 short block. Going to be running it naturally aspirated on alcohol. I was looking at one from Scott Shafiroff. Anyone know how good of a motor he builds? Thanks in advance. I've got a 540ci BBC from Scott Shafiroff in my Nova. I love it! I've had the engine since 20...
