I dont know if its to give the nitrous guys an advantage or more for saftey reasons. Alex verettos (not sure about the spelling) went a 7.37 @ 209mph last year at MIR that down right gettin busy on a D/R.....twin turbo.. Those cas pull like hell on top end.

They cut our local d/r class back to 1/8th mile this year alot of the turbo cars are non too happy either.

Here on the MD-VA line Friday was a high of 21deg. friday night 5 deg. Today high of 27 and single digits again tonight. Come on sping time!!! Days are geting longer though by about a minute a day.

I have one out of a 70-81 camaro with 3.91's a posi unit and c-clip eliminators I put on ebay 3 times with a $300.00 reserve and it was never met. I would say @ $250.00 is a fair price

Have you checked inside the tbi unit where the pressure line goes in for trash? It sounds like trash or perhaps the diaphram in the tbi unit has collapsed. You can get a rebuild kit for these for @60 bucks it comes with a diaphram,new spring,and o-rings.

There was a guy several years ago named conley who made engines like that for 1/4 scale r/c cars. I dont think they ever really took off as they were extreemly expensive.

We have the real street class at MIR and there are several cal-trac drag radial cars in the 7s, This class requires a stock rear suspension setup no coilovers or ladder bars are allowed.
