That looks like a pretty tight fit with those Wilwoods. Hopefully with my 2.25" backspacing I won't have any problems with whatever brand I decide to go with. Thanks for the pictures.

My inner fenders are out so I'm not worried about rubbing. I paid a shitload of cash for the wheels and would hate to install the brakes and find out that they don't fit. Did you have any problems with the installation or was it fairly straight forward?

Questions About Strange Front Brakes

I was reading another post in here about Strange brakes. It said Strange moves the wheel in 1/4" while the other companies move the wheel out. I have a '68 Camaro with stock front drums so my questions are...how hard is the conversion from drums to discs, if Strange kits move the wheel in would...

I use a B&M snap switch and run the wire through the back of the shifter cover and tie wrap it to the shifter lever (Hurst 1/4 Stick). I use a Painless switch panel and arm the brake right after my burnout and disarm it on the return road. When I'm on the street I never arm the brake so if I wou...

Does anyone know the name of this movie? I remember watching it when I was a kid, it must have been made in the late 70's or early 80's I figure. It was about a funny car circuit and all I really remember was some guy getting fuel splashed on him and getting set on fire.

Starter Mounting to Merlin Blocks

Just wondering if anyone out there has had any problems with clearances when mounting starters to Merlin engine blocks. I have a Proform hi-torque starter and when I tighten down the bolts the starter gear hits the flexplate. On my old engine there's about 1/8 of an inch clearance. Any ideas for rec...

I didn't go for the all out SS version, I just upgraded to the 345 cc heads with the CNC ported combustion chambers and a slightly more aggressive solid roller cam. I didn't ask about the warranty because it says on their website all Ultra-Street engines have a 2 year unlimited warranty. I guess I s...

Canadian Guy, reading your story scares the hell out of me. I purchased my 582 Shafiroff Ultra-Street engine in October and haven't fired it up yet. It was dynoed at his shop and made 791hp and 736 ft/lbs of torque an I was looking forward to beating the hell out of it this coming season. I'm wonder...
