I always just ran water and water wetter(pink stuff, for a pump lubricant). I got popped at a track once when my catch can hose spit some on the track, I was running a 50/50 mix at that time.

Re: Driveshaft and Rearend
OK, I found a kit from MOSER, and when I talked to the tech person, told me to put different ends on the axle tubes to eliminate the Clip eliminators. Ford Bearing size, Kit comes with Spool and 33 spline axles, should be good to run into the 10's. I am planning on running a 10.5W tire like a DOT Sl...

Driveshaft and Rearend
Hey, I am running a 79 camaro, I was using the stock drive shaft and GM 10bolt. Long story short, I had an odd U Joint in the rear, so I questioned everything about upgrading the shaft. everything said and done, I have got a "thick wall" 3" shaft being made with 1350 joints. The probl...

I've seen his car on HP TV, He does the quarter faster than I can do the eight. I call that car a #2. Because by the time I launch he is already at the drive through getting a double cheeseburger and Fries, and back to the finish line before I shift.

Re: Leaf Spring Hangers
I just mini tubbed the car over the weekend, I moved my spring perches in 6 inches on each side. Still running the 10bolt for as fast as I am going, when I get some more money, then I think I will look at enhancing some stuff. Currently just had the springs rebent and added a ply, I 60" in the ...

How hard is it to put the sliders in? I only run 12.00s is it worth it for me, or spend money elsewhere first? Are they streetable? I still like to drive my car on the street.

Re: The newbie and his TH400
Have you ever heard of REDNECK PERFORMANCE? My dad was looking at their stuff, TH350 w/Trans Bracke and 9.5" converter, for not quite 1400 bucks, I was interested to see if any one else used their stuff.

Redneck Performance
Has anyone here ever used a REDNECK PERFORMANCE trans/converter? I see them selling a TH350 w/Brake and 9.5" converter for about 1350. My dad needs a transmission/converter, this doesn't look like a bad deal.

Re: Head Comparison - OEM 990's to Dart Pro 1 2.25/310's
I have basically an LS 6 motor, when I bought it, I pd 3500 bucks, and got everything, I just had to put it together, it originally had LS7 Pistons / GM 180 cam. I switched the pistons to TRW LS6 replacements, and that killed the GM 180 LS7 Cam, The car with the ls6 pistons and comp ls6+ camshaft, h...

I had Autolite race plugs, the have the strap cut back, but I am only running a 454 w/MSD ignition, I was gapping at .050, but someone in a different forum said, I should close it to .030. Re: SCAT ROTATING ASSEMBLIES
So the recommendation is the Forged kit of course. I would like to use a bit of nitrous. I have the LS7 Cam, will it work?
Is it worth it to get a flap wheel in there and smooth everything out? or there is a local shop that will do a pocket port?

Re: SCAT ROTATING ASSEMBLIES
There are two places that are about 5 miles from my house that carry E85. I just read that Car Craft likes it because you can jump the compression up to 12/12.5 to 1.
