Re: fuel psi on nos

If I'm not mistaken I sent you a PM stating all your nos/fuel ratios and etc some time ago. Did you not get it?

Re: fuel psi on nos

Jet your nos bigger than your fuel side probably by 4 numbers. You need your timing to come out of it when it's activated only. try knocking out about 6 degrees and start from there. But you will need to be at the track to do some decent full throttle testing to confirm what the engine wants, Rememb...

Re: got an assembly question

hook you up a good pressure gauge just before the solenoid and fire it and set your flowing fuel pressure and you will know strait off, but I would say yes as long as you have a decent fuel pump and the fuel line is not tooooo long

Re: The new auto parachute deployment system, what do you think

Just a quick note here: Chris Patrick has developed some new software/hardware that is really changing the way cars are wired up. Along with this system there is a feature that can automatically turn off the ignition, fuel etc and deploy chutes with the touch of a button from man on starting line. T...

Re: fuel psi on nos

I have run the numbers and I think you have your jets in wrong. Smaller # jet should be on the fuel side and larger # on NOS side. Here goes= with a 53 NOS jet and a 47 fuel jet you will have a Nitrous/fuel ratio of 6.05 with 99hp. Now lets change these to the way you have them in your car = with a ...

Re: Will it take anymore? Am I maxed out?

Just a quick post,,, My first thougts are if you've increased HP and plugs still read good then your probably blowing thru the converter or spinning the tires more no. One of very first hot rod motors was a 383 and I believe to this day it is the very best one I've owned!! Not much help but there yo...

Re: The new auto parachute deployment system, what do you think

I have often wondered why "In Drag Racing" there is not some type of radio conrolled frequency device that a pit member has control of at the starting line that could be used to switch OFF the car and automatically deploy the chutes? It would have to be quite simple I think. At some of the...

I am going to run the car for it's first and probably final balz out run the first weekend in Sept. Not quite sure where yet, probably have to make that decision according to the weather. After that I will be pulling a few components off of the car and placing it for sale..

Re: Another NEWBIE here, checking in.....

I went and tested it at MMP and went a 1.07 60/ft spraying a 150 shot, leaving the line at 2600 rpm but the car wouldn't shift into high gear and only ran a 4.57 so I know it's got potential especialy since I got another 750 hp shot that is sure to kick it in the BUTTE...

Re: Neal Chance Unveils New Converter Technology

[quote="John_Heard"]Those are very expensive right now, once Marty gets things running more efficiently the price will come down. Just for reference, a standard Pro Mod Converter with aluminum drive cover (steel pump side) retails for $2995.00. The full aluminum converter is a lot more due...
