thanks man. this board is very helpful. i cant wait to see your car in action. are you racing the ttt5? my buddy races in that series but not competitively. just to up the car count (his words)

I was using a factory setup and just like Chris metnioned, the car flexed, and it stuck wide open due to a bad motor mount.71 chevy wrote:Bruce, can I ask what pedal you were using when the throttle stuck open, and what caused it to happen?

My car is still a work in progress. It will be ready to run at the frist of the season. yes I plan on running the ttt5. You can use a push/pull Morse cable and the toe hook will work.HPDRIFTER wrote:I'd never thought about it before, but that nhra-required toe hook must be pretty much useless with a cable throttle.

How long is the SRC pedal? It looks about 18" with about a 30 degree bend 4" up from the pedal. It is hard to tell from a picture. Am I close?
