Are the comp. engineering slide-a-link systems any good for a street and strip car?
I have the Slide-a-Links on my Nova. They work well, car launches straight, even with a 125 hp shot of N2O. I have no problems using them on the street. My car is not a high HP car though (approx 400HP NA / 525HP on N2O). Seems like around here the CalTracs with the split leaf monos are the hot setup for high HP Novas. The CE's came with the car; if I had to get some t-bars, I'd go CalTrac. Not sure what the streetability of the CalTracs is...

The slide-A-links work pretty well on a street/strip car. They were on my 71 Nova until this year. They were a pain to get adjusted when I first put them on. It took almost 2 months to get the to work as well as the slapper bars I took off. I did end up getting them setup and the car ran 1.40 60's and 9.50 et's on them so I'd say they will work fine for a street strip car. That being said, I swapped to calvert split leafs and caltracs this year and so far, they are WAY better for the track.
