Back to the Track

#1 Post by shookler » Mon Mar 31, 2008 12:29 pm

Well I took the Olds to the track yesterday. I set the 4 link up per Daves instructions and EVERYTHING he said would happen did happen. Off the trailer with a long instant center point, the car looked like it had a lever hooked to it and it did a big long left wheel wheelie, about 3 feet or so, ran a 10:50. Shortened the IC two more times and lowered the tire pressure and ran a 10.20 at 130 not pulling any wheels. Before the next pass I am putting in the Comp Engineering anti roll bar then concentrate on the trans a little more. I am still running a stock fairbanks 10 inch converter. So, my hat is off to Dave Morgan and a very big thank you to him. I ll send you guys a video as soon as I put it on the computer.
