Hey guys...
I have searched and found that if the car pulls to the right pre load the right bar.
My question is this, If in the burnout box my car slides to left, do I need to pre-load the left more. It didn't really used to have this problem until I found that dropping my psi in my slicks from 12.5 to 9.5 nets my best 60 (didn't think my car was bad enough to warrant that low of pressure). Now the car side steps to the left and I can barely get the tires warm.
any help?

I would caution against making adjustments for issues in the burnout box that are not present at launch.

Well, no one helps me stage really. I depend on the guy that pulls the cars into the burnout box to tell me when to stop. My tires psi are exactly the same. I get the tires spinning in first then hit second and generally try to sit there at ~ 4500 for four seconds.
Maybe the guy in the waterbox this weekend just sucked...but I think it's due to me dropping psi. Towards the end of the day it would spin straight for about a second slide to the left about three feet in about a second then sit still.

Is it a glide or three speed? You want to be in high gear to generate wheel speed and to avoid hurting the trans.
Try this next time. Go into the burnout box then pull past the water, you don't want to be sitting in the puddle area which is also likely going to be a bit of a rut/hole and uneven. Set your line lock and start your burnout in high if you can, if not start in a lower gear and quickly get to high gear ASAP. Once you get some wheelspeed which should be pretty quick, let loose the line lock and come out of the box.
They will drift right or left if you're just sitting there on the line lock at low rpm, it'll start to grab on one side before the other - I don't think you have a preload problem as long as the car is launching straight. Don't just sit there in the box slowly turning the tires over, get it in high, come on out then lift before the tires drag the engine down.

I'll try starting in high, never thought my car had the nuts to do it. But, I've never tried and it does have 4.88's in it.
Here's atypical run for me. I come in start in low and shift to high and spin out of the box.

I figured it out...My bar on the drivers side was way out of adjustment. It took almost 2 turns to get it to touch the spring with me sitting in it. Don't know what happened, but everything is straight again.
