I would think with a good DA shock and some track time time you could hook 2000+ hp on that set up. There are guys running 1600+ hp on a true 28x10.5 with ladders to the tune of 7.20 @ 190 mpg. I am NOT saying it would be easy, but it is possible.

Maximus,

They fill out the mini tubbed wheel well completely and they worked good on the last motor once i dialed in the suspension.

This new motor made 746 ft/lb torque at 5,600rpm so I may have my hands full getting it to leave...

Double adjustable front and rear Strange shocks means twice the possibilities to test.
Any more ideas?

Cheers,

If it aint a handfull, it aint any fun!

I run a 31.25x12x15 of phoenix's, they hook pretty well but their sidewalls cant support my wieght and violence at the line and its killing my 60'..... and my tires.

These 10.5W -31 M/T's are considered stiff sidewall slicks, and i run tubes.

If you look at the pic I posted earlier in this trhead, you can see a nice wrinkle pattern on launch even with only 9psi, but then again my 60 foot was only 1.32 in that pic.

Cheers,

This is a decent pic of what mine do. Every now and then i can pull a 1.28 60' most of the time its a 1.30 or 1.32, after about 100' it gets up on the tire and hauls balls.

Got the new Strange DA installed, and plan to start out at 2 clicks from soft on extension, and 4 clicks on the compression to let it lift and transfer.

Sound good?
