Has anyone used a DMR set-up?
We just tried one this past weekend on our 64 Chevelle.
90/10 set loose on the front with Moroso springs.
Rears QA1 adjustables 1-12
Pinon angle -1 degree.
No hop bars
28x9X15 slick with 10lbs air
We had the rear shocks set 5 the car rolls out right lifts the left front tire 1".
The right rear quarter is rolling over and the driver side is going up leaving about a 5" gap between the tire and the fender lip.
I can't get any more adjustment out of the upper left link.
Any suggestions?
Jim.

Re: Dick Miller Racing set up for a 64 Chevelle
The Dick Miller kit will do nothing to control the roll rotation of the car. In fact, the new shorter instant center will exaggerate the problem. How quick is the car? When you say you don't have more "adjustment" in the upper left link, does this mean you're trying to control the roll rotation you're experiencing with preloading the suspension links? IMO, this would be a huge no-no. By adding preload to the suspension links in a factory triangulated 4-link suspension, you're only shoving the rear end housing from side-to-side. The primary solution is to go ahead and have an anti-roll bar system installed. Also, if you're getting that much body roll upon launch, I would question as to whether you need this kit at all. Sounds like it's adding too much violence to your launch characteristics. Which hole do you have the upper links set in? IIRC, the DM kits only have 2 holes on the "no-hop" or "hop-stop" bars. If you're in the top hole, definitely drop it down to the lower one.Willie496 wrote:Has anyone used a DMR set-up?
