10-4
I was just curious, as the heim mount would be a bit lighter and I hadn't heard of any outlaw classes that required original stud type mount.
On that same note, why don't more of the O10.5 guys use something like the Smith Racecraft subframe?

As I recall, the rules state that the original front frame rails are required to be there. Not much of them, but they have to be there.John_Heard wrote:10-4

Excellent welds Todd. You do great work.DOTracer wrote:We just remounted the shocks he already had for the car.John_Heard wrote:The upper shock mounts..DOTracer wrote: What do you mean by heim uppers?
Not directed at Todd but, an FYI for everyone, the stud mount shocks put a side load on the shock shaft. Avoid this type of mounting when rules or budget permits.

You're just looking for any excuse to cut holes in those fenders, aren't you?John_Heard wrote: Is he going to run fender well headers? We were looking at the 25.2 and 25.3 specs and those dang inner rails make it very tough to run chassis headers from what I can see.

Twin turbo 632 combination. The entire underside is flat as a board...carbon fiber belly pan.John_Heard wrote:The upper shock mounts..DOTracer wrote: What do you mean by heim uppers?
