I have leaf springs...shouldn't I have body seperation?
I don't really see any body seperation when I leave. Maybe the split second the tires get hit, but that's it. As a newb, my impression is that if my suspension is working properly I should get some noticable seperation. Are there caveats that I don't know about? Are my tires slipping slightly not allowing the body to be pushed up?

I see noticeable separation. Watch the space between the wheel and fender lip. From just listening to the video, it sounds like the RPM's drop off right out of the beams. I see no evidence of wheelspin either so, IMO, you have some room to move your launch RPM up.

I see some seperation also. As you make more power (torque) you will see more seperation...to the point where you need to control control it with shock settings.
When my car had a stock engine in it it had very little seperation...now it has 3 inches
Borrow a friends small nitrous unit and try it

I think clutchdude might have said the words just right.
Give it some more power.
IMO, there is nothing wrong with leaf springs as long as you have a good bar setup.
Another thing, the more sidewall wrinkle you get the more separation you will see, just because the tires get shorter.

I was expecting more I guess. I suppose it would have helped If I hadn't found a vid from '08 (top vid) when I was dealing with that little bog.

I was very close...as you may recall. I decided my fuel system was too close for comfort. Bottles still scare me a bit.
