82 mustang pinion angle help

my drive shaft is -2 degrees, and the yoke on the rearend is measuring -1 degree is this ok or should i go more neg on the rear yoke, i have adjustable upper arms and all poly bushings,, they call for -2.5 to -3 degrees,, but they always mentioning nose down, are they talking about the rear yoke down ? i have the car on a flat surface doing this as they suggest. is the -2 and the -1 a -3 and im where i want to be ,, help;;;;ty becky

What is the difference on the angle from the engine damper to the pinion yoke angle?

I checked it at the dampner and it was -5 degrees and the pinion was - 3 degrees,, what a difference it makes with a new tool.
