Looks good Jeff!!!!!!!! Is there a weight limit on this class??? Do you need to keep a % of the original floor??? Are your builds usually heavy??? Just thinking if there is one it should weigh less so you can move weight around to see it's affects on the launch....
What do you think Mike??? I know maybe over thinking???

Bruce,

I don't know if you remember it, but in this weekend I went to other state to assembly our kit in the car...check the result!!!
This is a 77' GM Opala...it was the Brazilian top car in that age!!!
The owner is a very smart guy and works at the GM factory! In just one day, the kit was instaled in the car!!

Visually, the car got so beautiful!!! For now, the engine is not ready yet. Will be assembly a V8 Dart 6,7 liters engine, with 2 turbochargers, TH 400 transmission and a Ford 9 rear axle.

The next step will be the rear chassis and suspension. He liked our job and he will send the car for us to get it.

Thanks!
Jeff

Hello Bracketracer!!

Check the 4 link kit that was instaled today. The next step will be the wishbone and the ARB.

About the weight, second the rulebook of our category, for cars 4 cylinders turbocharged, the minimum weight is 2050 lbs. We will get it.

About the floor, what we can do is to remove the rear floor, just that.

Regards,

Keep up the good work Jeff. You should think about building yourself a jig. It would make it easier to get the frame installations square.

A frame fixture that is flat, level, and squared all your reference points can be made from it. Lots of guys make them from "I" beams.
