Yes. Just two simple parallel "I" beams or large heavy gauge square tubing would make your measuring a lot easier. Looks like you've reached a point in your business where this could increase your production by saving time. Set the car on the jig, square with measurements, and you'll wonder why you didn't build yourself a jig sooner. Click on this link out for an example and keep up the good work. :thumb:

New machine tools (milling machines) are shipped on heavy, welded metal platforms that would make an excellent chassis jig platform, if you can find them.

Good idea!!

Their faces are grinded and depending of the machine, it can be longer...and very good to build a chassis over it.

Thanks!!

Mike, my buddy!

I've some news!!! :D

I got to save the sufficient money to make a travel to there in US!!!! I'll go there at February, 10th and I'll make the Dave's Seminar in Scranton/PA.
After, I'll go to Boonville/IN to make a training program at AFCO with Mr. Eric Saffell. I'll introduce his products here in Brazil...
:thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

I don't know If someone here lives near to these places...would be a great opportunity to know some Dragstuff friend.

About our job, we built a simple JIG to support the GM Opala which we had built that funny cage...The guy liked our job and decided to send his car to us to build the rear chassis and suspension!!!

The construction is running well and now are building the X braces behind the Main Hoop.

Enjoy with the pictures!!!

Thanks

That is good news. I hope your trip to the U.S. is enjoyable. Dave and Eric are good men and have both helped me. Tell them both hello for me. I'm sure Dave will be excited to know someone traveled from Brazil to attend his seminar. Your chassis business is doing very well. You've come a long way in your skills and knowledge in a small amount of time. Very impressive and good job. Please take photos of your trip to the U.S. and post them here for the rest of the DragStuff members to see and enjoy. I think it would be very interesting.

Mike,
I have no idea how I'm feeling about this travel!!!
Have the pleasure to know Dave and Eric personally...fantastic!!

Of course, I'll learn a lot with these guys!!! Eric is offering me 3 days of intensive training at AFCO...and one more weekend with Dave!!!I would never imagine an opportunity like this.
Unfortunately your are far away from there...I think we'll have a lot of drag race subjects to talk...
Which place do you recommend to visit near to Boonville???
I hope to be able to post the pictures daily. It will be nice!
Look below, this is one more new!! We introduced an advertisement at our main Drag Racing Magazzine. Check it out!!! AFCO Racing is there!!

I hope my English be fine until there!!!

Thanks!!
