Ask the Brake Supplier

#1 Post by HPDRIFTER » Tue Jul 06, 2010 12:00 pm

How about contacting the people who built your brakes and asking for their advise?
They want you to be happy with their product; not because they particulafly care about you (they already have your money) - they just don't want you to be bad-mouthing their products to other prospective customers.

Or you could just buy a used M/C, work your butt off getting it to fit and wonder if it's going to work. (Like I did!)

I totally agree with you. Why do so many people just guess at what size bore m/c to use or where to put a prop valve or if they should use residual valve or not etc, etc, etc. Ive spoken to a guy at Brake Tech Solutions a few times about issues on cars at work and he's given really good advise and we never bought any products from them. Mike at Wilwood has helped me a lot and not just because we are a dealer.Dont guess at stuff about your brakes get the right parts the first time its not something you want "test".
