Had A new best 60 ft yesterday 1.66 on first run, car hooked then after that it slowly went away again!. I wasn't the only one spinning either, but i think something is still wrong somewhere.. here is a vid... see if u can see anything. Wonder if now I don't have enough front end travel?

Until I read your last post, with the 1.66 60-foot, I thought bind, which includes limited shock travel, may be the problem. Yet it doesn't make sense that the car 60-footed better and got less shock travel.
However, let's get back to basics. If the shock is topping out, you can make a poor-man's potentiometer, using dental floss and duck tape. Tie a length of floss to the top of the upper shock mount, then place a knot in the floss somewhere near the body of the shock. In other words, you'll have this length of floss spanning the shock and at some point where the floss is near the body of the shock, you have a knot in the floss. Ten wrap a piece of tape around the body, making sure the knot is aligned with the top edge of the tape. All this is done with the car at ride height. Once ou launch and the shock extends, it will tug that knot upwards away from the edge of the tape. The distance from the edge of the tape and the knot is the distance the shock traveled.
I hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply Dave!.. Here is what I have been working on, I got some new C/E rear shocks, then added shock extensions, and relocation brackets with new UMI Boxed LCA'S.. I removed the rear sway bar cause i didn't think it would work with the new arms, of course after looking last night it will! brain fade ,lol... Anyway the video below is of sunday on a terrible track alot of street cars that were there that day. thje front shocks were set to 60/40 i did go to 80/20 later that day to get some more transfer, also My one shock on drivers side i really never did get it to feel good in the 30/70 spot like on pass side.. anyway u can clearly see in the video the tire is bouncing leaving the line and when i watch it in slow mo u can really see it, I am guessing because the sway bar was gone it was allowing that wheel to not stay planted that and the shock deal, which I now have that one at 50/50, I also will be having the sway bar back on with some shims to put a twist in it to preload the pass side more so i don't need so much air in the bag. This sunday is another bracket race so prep will be much better!,... The good news is the car is seperating now!

Well after struggling half the season with suspension problems I decided to buy brand new tires and QA1'Stocker star R series shocks for up front. Problems gone! Car left perfect everytime starting out with a 1.65 then all 1.66's then finshed up the day with a 1.64 60 ft! Never spun once! Car ran a 11.66 on the brakes in worse air than we had two weeks ago when it was sea level and ran a 11.64!..So very pleased with that also since i moved up to a bigger tire from the 26" Now running a 28x10.5x15s ET drag instead of the 26" one. Thanks for everyones help ! Going out one last time this saturday to break her into the 50's!!

Put that big ol gal on a diet! I bet there's hundreds of pounds in it that could be easily unbolted.

Not sure where? I have already taken out the bumper shocks and crash bars front and back, and just using chrome moly tube and some 1/8th plate steel bolted back to frame. It has full interior and i like it like that as this is still a street car also :).. was thinking I could go with tubular upper and lower arms up front, maybe some drop spindles for more travel, and maybe a aluminum rad, other than that it is pretty much what it is :D

Street car ok... I was going to suggest taking the rear seat, pass. seat, etc.

Maybe this will give you a few ideas
