Unsprung weight?

Are leaf springs considered unsprung weight?

Im pretty sure 1/2 the weight of the spring is unsprung weight.

Would that be from the reaeend back to the hanger? What about the slide a links are the considered unsrung?

1/2 the weight meaning if the entire spring weighed 30lbs,15lbs would be unsprung. I know thats how the front is but not positive about the back.Anything UNDER the spring is unsprung weight because the spring is not holding it up,this would be tracion bar,shock plate,u-bolt nuts, etc,etc. I think wheel and tire is also consider 1/2 unspung.
