you got a nice start 71 chevy is it going to be a sbc or bbc and what trans.

and as for the shocks they work great i cut the travel down to 4 inches and i have the shock tighten quite alot to keep the front end down.

also bert is on the nose about the spring rates also :thumb:

You and Chris will be just like the movie Twins.....but who is going to be Arnold and who is going to be Danny?

Guess that depends on what size motor your going to install

Talk to Chris about setting up the alignment, he has a home method for doing that and seeing he's near, take advantage of that......

Those who think they know it all have no way of finding out they don't.........

really? I thought they only provided around 3 inches of front end travel. are you using the 250lb rate spring? if this setup does not work out Im going with the coilovers. Regular springs are a royal PITA.

its just a 325 lm7 with a th400. its a very budget build

Hey 71 chevy, are you doing a ls1 swap? I have some engine mount, oil pan and header questions. I am thinking of doing the same thing for this 68 I just picked up, like you, on a budget.
I am not really sure what the question is, but I am pretty sure the answer is Big Block.
