caltracs split leaf

#1 Post by jaspermaggie » Tue Apr 05, 2011 6:29 pm

I need to get a leaf spring for my 55 chevy. Do you think I would see any advantage with a caltracs at my hp level. $500 v $200. It is a 355 with 430 at crank and I spray 150. Runs 8.0 on motor 1/8. I have not got it to hook on a 150 ran a 7.30 with a 125 spinning. I just changed front end to 5.5" up travel (was 3.5)and changed pinion to -4 (was 4).
My car is not as fast as I think it is.
