I started a post about wheel studs and right away, as normal this NOVA guy, whom must have my scent, comes along and highjacks my thread and runs away with it.

Now Rodney King is involved, who's next, the Al Sharp?

Next thing you know he's going to be saying that we're all a bunch of wannabe's, heads up, test-n-tune racers, that don't no chit, have done nothing and will never be as fast as his NOVA is.

Oh yea, Chris1320Racer, have a freakin nice day and make sure that if you can't see the blades spinning, you don't climb up on a ladder to see where they are at :smt005 :smt005

Dunno, some of these guys think they have to work for a living. Go figger.

Hey, you may have shared this earlier in the thread, but...

How many CFM is that SPAL fan ?

Where did you pick up both the fan and the shroud ?

That looks sweet. I'm considering making the move to both and electric water pump and electric fan(s), but I want to make damn sure I have enough cooling for this booger.

Man I hate when the computer crashes....right in the middle of my reply it goes dead on me!

The fan was a 16" puller with 2360 cfm's and I got it from Universal Parts which Chris recommended.

As for the shroud, it was made by Roland Racing (that's me) here in our shop. I would have liked to use a .050/ .060 aluminum but all we had was 20ga aluminized steel. I had an idea of how to do it and Rob backed up my idea with a nice
templete he sent me. If he's ok with that, I could send it or maybe he could send it to you? Now he gave me the depth and said he did some testing and the depth of .75" worked great, but maybe for your car, which you drive on the street, it may need to be deeper?

The thing I did wrong was, I formed it before I had a chance to add a few beads. I wanted to add four beads, coming in from the edge running towards the center. Rob was syaing they normally do that and it add some strength.

I'm also planning to switch from my short pump/ Moroso water pump drive, to an electric pump.

And nice try Rob, but if do a track-car only, it'll have spinners and LED's on the chassis...
